PZ Map is an application with access to the catalog of maps from the game Project Zomboid. The gamer does not have to constantly minimize the window in order to open a special website in the browser and see the necessary marks, houses, secrets, and so on. Now the maps are available on the phone screen — it is enough to download a web resource through the built-in PZ Map browser and find the information you are interested in. The program does not download maps to the drive, so it does not work without a global network.

Functions

Main features of the application:

A set of standard locations. In the local library there are regular level models from Project Zomboid provided by the developers. Locations are recreated in detail by textures, location and distances in the game.
Division by levels. To consider the structure of the landscape and buildings, you can use layering into floors. The function allows you to look inside the houses where the game character is able to get on his own.
Custom mods. Locations added by the community and approved by the administration also appear in the program library.
Switching between objects. Users are provided with a mark filter that allows you to filter out gas stations, shops, residential buildings and dozens of other categories. It is also allowed to create and save your own sorting parameters.

Advantages and disadvantages

Positive aspects:

Convenient sorting by catalog.
Saving bookmarks and custom maps.
View information about points of interest.
Zoom and fullscreen mode.

Negative sides:

Does not work without an internet connection.
There is no translation into Russian.

It is recommended to use PZ Map if you have a connection to a Wi-Fi point or an unlimited tariff from a mobile operator. When zooming, the program additionally downloads a detailed version of the map with houses, roads and markers.

Installing/updating the application

Download the installation file with the extension *.apk to the device. To update the application version, you need to install a new file without deleting the old one.
If there is a ban on installation from suspicious sites on the device, you should first remove the restriction.
Install the APK file using the file manager. We recommend using Total Commander.
If there is no cache, you need to run the application. Otherwise, you need to install the cache.

Installing APKS files

Install and open the utility Split APKs Installer.
On the "Install" tab, click on "Install APK".
Click on the "Built-in filepicker".
When prompted to grant permission to access files, click "Allow".
Select the APKS file.
Click "Install".

Installing XAPK files

Open the program XAPK Installer.
At the first launch of the application, grant permission to access files and install packages.
Find the required XAPK file via the "Automatic search" button ".XAPK files".
Click on the green square with an arrow next to the desired application.

Installing the application cache

Load the cache file.
Unzip the cache folder in /Android/obb/.
The required result will look like this: /Android/obb/cache folder/file *obb.

Click on the "Subscribe to updates" button and enter your email.
Go to the email, open the received email and click "Subscribe".

If the application and cache are not downloaded

Reconnect to another Internet network.
See how much free space is available on the device. If there is a lack of memory, you should delete unnecessary files, transfer the content to another medium using Total Commander.

If the application is not installed

To fix a possible software failure, restart your phone or tablet.
Make sure that there is enough free space in the device's memory. If necessary, increase the unallocated space by transferring files and applications to the memory card using a file manager, for example, Total Commander.
Perform an antivirus scan using, for example, Dr.Web Light.
Remove the ban on installation from unknown sources.

If the cache is not installed

On the internal drive, go to /Android/obb/. Check the presence of a directory with a cache. If the folder is not found or the *.obb file is missing, reinstall the cache.
If an error appears when unpacking the archive, check the memory status. If there is no free space, you need to clear the device of unnecessary files by deleting or transferring content to another medium. In this case, you should use a file manager, for example, Total Commander.

If the "Download" button is not pressed

Click the "Download" button located next to the application name.
Click on the desired file option and wait for the full download to the device.
If the problem persists, perform steps 1-2 in a different browser, for example, Google Chrome.
