Adobe AIR is an application that allows you to update the technology of launching games using a cross—platform environment from Adobe developers. It works with pages of websites made in HTML and CSS, supports AJAX, Adobe Flash branded product and Apache Flex kit. This allows you to transfer applications to mobile phones without porting restrictions.

Features

Adobe AIR technology is an environment for executing the working code of programs and web services. The application allows you to update the software version on your phone and launch games from Google PlayMarket and other sources without having to port installation files or change their specification. Other features:

Corporate Flash Player support. After transferring the rights to AIR to HARMAN, the application began to support the SDK used for "packaging" and "deploying" programs that are based solely on the SWF convention.
Browser. Previous versions of AIR could not provide a full-fledged display of materials in HTML format using jаvascript. Now the application contains a browser that allows you to continue using Flash, whose support has stopped.
Built-in engine. There are functions for implementing a mobile browser to help software tools process web data and Flash-based applications.
Flash Player Support. Officially, Adobe has stopped updating the technology, but corporate clients can continue using the software running exclusively on this engine with the help of the service.

Advantages and disadvantages

Advantages:

Installing/updating the application

Download the installation file with the extension *.apk to the device. To update the application version, you need to install a new file without deleting the old one.
If there is a ban on installation from suspicious sites on the device, you should first remove the restriction.
Install the APK file using the file manager. We recommend using Total Commander.
If there is no cache, you need to run the application. Otherwise, you need to install the cache.

Install and open the utility Split APKs Installer.
On the "Install" tab, click on "Install APK".
Click on the "Built-in filepicker".
When prompted to grant permission to access files, click "Allow".
Select the APKS file.
Click "Install".

Open the program XAPK Installer.
At the first launch of the application, grant permission to access files and install packages.
Find the required XAPK file via the "Automatic search" button ".XAPK files".
Click on the green square with an arrow next to the desired application.

Load the cache file.
Unzip the cache folder in /Android/obb/.
The required result will look like this: /Android/obb/cache folder/file *obb.

Go to the email, open the received email and click "Subscribe".

If the application and cache are not downloaded

Reconnect to another Internet network.
See how much free space is available on the device. If there is a lack of memory, you should delete unnecessary files, transfer the content to another medium using Total Commander.

If the application is not installed

To fix a possible software failure, restart your phone or tablet.
Make sure that there is enough free space in the device's memory. If necessary, increase the unallocated space by transferring files and applications to the memory card using a file manager, for example, Total Commander.
Perform an antivirus scan using, for example, Dr.Web Light.
Remove the ban on installation from unknown sources.

If the cache is not installed

On the internal drive, go to /Android/obb/. Check the presence of a directory with a cache. If the folder is not found or the *.obb file is missing, reinstall the cache.
If an error appears when unpacking the archive, check the memory status. If there is no free space, you need to clear the device of unnecessary files by deleting or transferring content to another medium. In this case, you should use a file manager, for example, Total Commander.

If the "Download" button is not pressed

Click the "Download" button located next to the application name.
Click on the desired file option and wait for the full download to the device.
If the problem persists, perform steps 1-2 in a different browser, for example, Google Chrome.
