GARAGEBAND pro is a program for creating podcasts and music compositions in the mode of a streaming audio workstation and a sequencer that captures and reproduces multi—channel sound. The application turns a smartphone or tablet into a set of touch instruments and a full-featured recording studio.

Functionality

The application can be used to record compositions or to play instruments in real time. The set contains more than a hundred synthesized types of musical equipment that can be configured by connecting a smartphone to real digital instruments via USB or MIDI ports.

Main functional features:

Multi-Touch support for tapping and launching sound cells.
Templates and creating your own grid are available.
Availability of the Remix FX tool for recording DJ effects.
The ability to capture any sound and apply studio-grade effects to it.
Own library of free instruments and sound packages.
The presence of grooves recorded using classical electronic drum machines and played through a bit sequencer.

Advantages and disadvantages

The main advantages of the program are:

Recording, mixing and exporting a song with a 24-bit audio resolution.

The program is ported from iOS, so not all the original functions can work.
There is no way to save music to iCloud.

Installing/updating the application

Download the installation file with the extension *.apk to the device. To update the application version, you need to install a new file without deleting the old one.
If there is a ban on installation from suspicious sites on the device, you should first remove the restriction.
Install the APK file using the file manager. We recommend using Total Commander.
If there is no cache, you need to run the application. Otherwise, you need to install the cache.

Installing APKS files

Install and open the utility Split APKs Installer.
On the "Install" tab, click on "Install APK".
Click on the "Built-in filepicker".
When prompted to grant permission to access files, click "Allow".
Select the APKS file.
Click "Install".

Installing XAPK files

Open the program XAPK Installer.
At the first launch of the application, grant permission to access files and install packages.
Find the required XAPK file via the "Automatic search" button ".XAPK files".
Click on the green square with an arrow next to the desired application.

Installing the application cache

Load the cache file.
Unzip the cache folder in /Android/obb/.
The required result will look like this: /Android/obb/cache folder/file *obb.

Click on the "Subscribe to updates" button and enter your email.
Go to the email, open the received email and click "Subscribe".

If the application and cache are not downloaded

Reconnect to another Internet network.
See how much free space is available on the device. If there is a lack of memory, you should delete unnecessary files, transfer the content to another medium using Total Commander.

If the application is not installed

To fix a possible software failure, restart your phone or tablet.
Make sure that there is enough free space in the device's memory. If necessary, increase the unallocated space by transferring files and applications to the memory card using a file manager, for example, Total Commander.
Perform an antivirus scan using, for example, Dr.Web Light.
Remove the ban on installation from unknown sources.

If the cache is not installed

On the internal drive, go to /Android/obb/. Check the presence of a directory with a cache. If the folder is not found or the *.obb file is missing, reinstall the cache.
If an error appears when unpacking the archive, check the memory status. If there is no free space, you need to clear the device of unnecessary files by deleting or transferring content to another medium. In this case, you should use a file manager, for example, Total Commander.

If the "Download" button is not pressed

Click the "Download" button located next to the application name.
Click on the desired file option and wait for the full download to the device.
If the problem persists, perform steps 1-2 in a different browser, for example, Google Chrome.
